On the bulletin boards in each porch is a list of monthly rentals.  The hall is used quite extensively, and we try not to rent the hall on Saturday evenings; however, if you or someone you know, wishes to rent the Parish Hall have them call the Parish office at 782-3071.                  

We are now into the second year of paying off the loan which we acquired to do the $50,000.00 worth of work on the church last year.  We still need to raise approximately $25,000.00 to pay off the rest of the loan.  If you have not yet given to help with this expense, please consider a donation. If you have already pledged and given, we thank you most warmly.

All leaders and Heads of Organizations in the Parish are reminded that the Annual Meeting will be held in February.  Please have all your reports into Father Shawn by January 20.

The Twentieth Annual Good Shepherd Arctic Char Dinner, Silent Auction and Dance will be held on Saturday, January 26 at 8pm at the Reid Community Centre, Mount Pearl. Tickets are only $20 and can be bought by calling the church 747-1022.

DAMA General Meeting to be held at St. Philip’s Parish Hall, St. Philip’s on Sunday, February 3, 2008 beginning with Dinner at 5:00 p.m.  Followed  by a short meeting and worship service at 6:30 PM

The Men’s Club will meet tomorrow evening at 7:00 PM in the Boardroom; this is open to all men in the Parish.  If you are interested in attending please come along and join us, for a meal and some fellowship.

By now many of you have read or heard in the media about the service for the renewal of Ordination vows which will be held on January 21^st at the Cathedral.  The service will be at 2:00 PM in the afternoon if you are interested in attending.  In both porches we have also posted a copy of the Bishop’s press release on this issue.                

There is a sign up sheet on the table at the back of the church for those who wish to donate the bulletin.  This list is up to the end of March.  Please sign up if your interested in donating the bulletin.
